Announcing The Bread & Butter Project’s new Head Baker

Apr 16, 2026 | Bakery News, Media Coverage

Introducing Kenta, The Bread & Butter Project’s new Head Baker.

Ken comes to us with a wealth of experience and a passion for quality food, having spent years fine-tuning his skills across a range of quality bakeries. Best of all, he leads our team with professionalism, care and kindness.

Ken’s recommended product is our Five Grain sourdough, and when he isn’t kneading dough, you’ll find him enjoying time out with his family or practicing martial arts – particularly Kendo.

We are very excited to have Ken join our team, and thrilled to have such an experienced and passionate baker leading our wonderful cohort of bakers and trainees. We know that our aspiring refugee bakers are in great hands as they upskill and prepare for working life in the Australian food service industry.
