We’ve teamed up with Mr Charlie’s for vegan burgers!
The Bread & Butter Project is excited to announce its partnership with groundbreaking new fast-food chain, Mr Charlie’s.
Launching its first Australian store in Sydney in late 2023, California-founded Mr Charlie’s takes on fast-food chains with its tasty plant-based alternatives and is known as the “vegan version of McDonald’s”.
We are proudly supplying burger buns to Mr Charlie’s for its range of approachable plant-based burgers, which provide a hearty and healthy alternative to traditional meat-based offerings.
Mr Charlie’s use a tasty plant-based ‘beef’, and is Australia’s exclusive importer of ‘Tindle’ – a plant-based ‘chicken’ which affords the same taste and texture of real chicken, without the guilt. Add The Bread & Butter Project’s custom-developed vegan potato bun to the mix and the result is plant-based choice, without compromising on taste or texture.

Our team has sampled Mr Charlie’s products for themselves and can attest that Mr Charlie’s burgers are delicious and 100% reminiscent of our favourite traditional hamburgers.
We love that Mr Charlie’s is bent on tackling the big issues with a not-so-serious approach. They’re all about having a good time and paying it forward – supporting those who deserve a second chance along the way through thoughtful employment.
And importantly – their philosophy of providing sustainable choices, doing good and helping others resonates with our own mission as a business.
As they say at Mr Charlie’s HQ – global change is a daunting task – but there’s only one way to eat a watermelon (or hamburger, for that matter): one bite at a time.
Mr.Charlie’s is here to redefine fast food and The Bread & Butter Project looks forward to joining them for the ride.
